They say rain on your wedding day is a good omen. Many cultures believe that every drop of fallen rain on your wedding day will result in one more year of wedded bliss, these two have a blissful eternity to look forward to. What their wedding at Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens lacked in sunshine was made up for in romance. The wedding ceremony was moved from the Arbor Terrace location at Grand Tradition to the tented reception space. One of the amazing things about Grand Tradition Estate is that they have back up plans in place in case of rain on your wedding day. Kaleb and Lindsey prepared in the bridal and grooms suites sipping champagne as they anticipated their walk down the aisle. The bridesmaids wore vivid red dresses with adorable flannel shawls. The guys wore black suits with red ties and Lindsey wore a beautiful wedding dress from Davidโ€™s Bridal and she tied the red in with a classic red lip.

This Christmas themed wedding was adorned with ornaments, cuddly teddy bears, nutcrackers and a Christmas tree guest book that allowed guests to sign an ornament and then hang it on the tree. The ambience was cozy and while we donโ€™t get snow in San Diego the rain felt fitting for the Christmas inspired wedding at Grand Tradition.

We stole the couple away after the ceremony for a few photos outdoors beneath some fun clear umbrellas. The wedding portraits turned out so fun beneath the falling rain. Jeremy at DJ Pros had the most creative Christmas mixes spinning into the night. We are wishing Kaleb & Lindsey all of the love!! Thank you so much for allowing us to photograph your wedding day.
