San Diego is a dream location for us as wedding photographers. The beautiful golden light, year round wedding friendly weather and the huge selection of wedding venues to inspire any couples dream wedding. Ryan and I are spoiled with such a variety of wedding venues to photograph at that keep our wedding photography fresh and creative.
So when a new wedding venue sprouts up in San Diego you know we have to A). scout it and then B). tell you guys all about it! We are so excited to announce that Trademark Venues newest wedding venue Botanica is now booking weddings and you guys the San Diego wedding venue is gorgeous!
Located at 190 Wilshire Rd. in Oceanside, CA 92057 this tropical inspired wedding venue is beyond private. It boasts multiple ceremony sites but we have to say that in front of the natural spring bed pond blooming with lily pads has to be our favorite. A waterfall trickles down natural rock and it’s one of the few San Diego waterfall venues. If you envision a lush tropical oasis for your wedding day here in San Diego then this one is a must see on your wedding venue tour list.
The venue has a private on site bridal suite called the bougainvillea cottage. Tucked away in the bougainvillea vines the cottage is the perfect place to pamper and relax in privacy and serenity the morning of your wedding. Aptly dubbed the Cabana the grooms suite at Botanica wedding venue will have you channeling your inner Great Gatsby in its exclusive gentlemen’s speakeasy. And the fellas won’t be twiddling their thumbs for hours before the wedding while the ladies get ready because this wedding venue has a putting green to keep them entertained for hours.
As with every Trademark wedding venue Botanica’s food menu is handcrafted by their private executive chef. We have photographed a lot of weddings here in San Diego and as a result have eaten a lot of vendor meals and we are always excited to enjoy selections from the menu at all of the Trademark wedding venues, trust us the food is legit.
Enjoy the private gardens of Botanica for 11.5 hours on your wedding day. From the start of your wedding at Botanica in the Bougainvillea Cottage and The Cabana to your grand exit at the end of the night you’ll never feel rushed with Botanica’s timeline, which as wedding photographers is huge.
