Being one of the wedding photographers on the preferred vendor list at The Grand Tradition Estate in Fallbrook has its perks. One, it allows us to return to Arbor Terrace where we got married. Two, we get to meet people like Kaitlyn and Matheus who truly make photographing weddings so rewarding. Their wedding at the Arbor Terrace ceremony site on The Grand Traditions sprawling estate was one that brought people from across the globe to celebrate their love. All of Matheus’s family came from his native Brazil to celebrate the marriage of the college sweethearts. Although a translator was present to relay everything in Portuguese the universal language of love needed no explanation.

We arrived at Arbor Terrace to see The Finishing Touch Wedding Design decking out Grand Tradition’s reception tent with sheer flowing linens, twinkle lights and a chandelier. I have never seen it dressed so beautifully before. There was no shortage of sparkle and glam at this wedding. The candelabras were draped in crystals and purple flowers which carried over to the ceremony site. The Arbor Terrace ceremony site is set in front of a triple waterfall that in itself is breathtaking But The Finishing Touch put in an arbor of cascading purple blooms and dangling crystals that stole the show, well until the bride arrived.

Kaitlyn and her crew sipped champagne in the bridal suite at the Grand Tradition until it was time for her to slip into her stunning satin Pronovias wedding gown. A classic silhouette, a draped back adorned by a dangling pearl back necklace and a veil completed her look. She was the vision of a timeless bride. The wedding ceremony was translated in Portuguese for Brazilian guests and the couple was wed by Matheus’s father who is a pastor in Brazil. Prayer, song, communion, and hand written vows had me blinking back tears from behind my camera.

Post ceremony we walked the gardens at The Grand Tradition estate for the newlyweds wedding portraits. Kaitlyn saved Matheus from a spider and he saved her from her heels sinking into the soil, the perfect team! The couple made their grand entrance into the white tented reception space. The night was consumed with love, laughter and some amazing dancing. We ended the night with Kaitlyn and Matheus running through a tunnel of glow stick while friends and family cheered them on.

Kaitlyn + Matt it was an honor to witness all of the love of your wedding day, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us in on all the love. We are wishing you both all of the happiness in the world and the best of luck in Med School the world needs doctors with hearts like yours.
