Brooke + Mason

Ethereal Gardens

What can I even say about Brooke and Mason’s wedding day other than it was the BEST DAY EVER. I’m sitting here trying to write this after going through all of their photos and totally overwhelmed with emotion and at a loss for words. The couple wanted an ethereal wedding theme so what better place to get married other than Ethereal Gardens Wedding Venue in Escondido, CA? Short answer, there isn’t.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Escondido California Ethereal Gardens wedding venue boasts acres of edible gardens, sprawling meadows and twinkling nightscapes. Brooke and Mason’s wedding day was a marvel of dreamy design meeting brilliant location all laced together with heart felt moments. Both friends and family traveled from across the globe to witness the celebration in the breezy sun-drenched meadow.

We began the day at Ethereal Gardens roaming the estate as the organic edible flora there are constantly undergoing transformation. After scouting locations we met Brookes father and brother as they built a custom wooden gate to the ceremony entrance, you heard us right, built it, from scratch just for Brooke and Mason’s wedding and we have to say it looks like it should have been there all along like the crown jewel of the meadow it just made it sparkle that little bit more.

Mason and his groomsmen were first to arrive and spent the early afternoon in the groom suite at Ethereal which if you’ve seen it, is nothing to complain about. Drink service, foose-ball and writing love letters to Brooke kept him occupied while the girls popped champagne and confetti to kick off the celebration. The couples fur baby, Mosby took turns visiting his mom and dad as they dressed for the day. Brooke wore the most stunning Hayley Paige gown, it was so unique and had the most beautiful texture and tone. Her cathedral length veil delicately graced her flowing locks, she was a VISION. Mason wore a blue tux and finished his look with a traditional Maile lei a nod to his Hawaiian roots. Brooke’s bouquet was wild and organic, the flowers had movement and whimsy and the tones complemented her bridesmaids dusty rose-colored gowns.

The couple exchanged their vows beneath the wooden arbor built by Brooke’s father, draped in flowing linens and cascading flowers created by Zeyda of Little Fleur Co. A painted palette of creamy whites and dusty mauves against the wooden reception chairs gave a rustic but refined aesthetic. Bethel Nathan did an AMAZING job at curating the most heartfelt ceremony. I got the goosebumps and happy tears too many times to count. The couple said “I-Do” in the sun kissed meadow as friends and family cheered them on throwing rose petals into the air as the couple exited their ceremony.

Post celebratory bubbles were in order with the couple and their bridal party  as we painted the sky with a glittering spray of champagne. Afternoon drifted into night as we chased the light with Brooke and Mason. Dinner was served alfresco with a side of stars as the newlyweds dined with their guests under the open skies and market lights of the starry night meadow.

As dinner and toasts came to an end the guests moved into the white tented reception space where dancing, mingling, bubble popping and fist pumping filled the night. The last song had everyone in linked arms circling Brooke & Mason to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. The night came to a shimmering end as the couple kissed beneath a tunnel of burning sparklers as a cool mist settled upon the estate.

Brooke & Mason we are wishing you all of the love in this world, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to bare witness to your wedding day it was overwhelmingly joyful to be a part of. Cheers XX
