The wedding ceremony for Bobby and Miriam at Ethereal Open Air Resort in Escondido California was just beautiful, the weather was gorgeous with the sky slightly overcast (a photographers best friend). The soft color palette featuring muted greens and corals could be seen everywhere. It paired so beautifully with all of the wood tables and iron candelabras making this wedding rustic and elegant. The bridal & groom suites they had are now one of our favorite spaces to photograph the bridal party and getting ready images. You can definitely tell based on all the images we showcase in this post. Yes, we may have gone a tad overboard on them but we just couldn’t hold back. The pure light really set the tone for the rest of the day.

The groomsmen wore classic gray suits with a vest and bobby rocked a pocket watch to complete the vintage feel. Miriam’s wedding dress was a gorgeous lace gown with a deep plunging neckline from Shareen Vintage, which she wore so well. Her hair was swept back and accented by a beautiful gold leaf headpiece. Her whole look was very romantic and effortless. I was in love with her bridal parties frocks as each one wore something entirely different from light blue lace to a blushy nude number worn by her sister the bridal parties dresses were really stunning and unique.

Bobby and Miriam opted for an intimate first look in the rustic barn on the grounds at Etheral.

The ceremony took place beneath the wispy overcast skies. Close family and friends looked on as the couple said their own vows, so personal that I got the goose bumps. Bobby and Miriam had been together for nine years, facing life’s trials and tribulations together and this couple is so clearly in tune with one another and so in love. Guests placed lavender at the couple’s feet creating a circle around them symbolizing their unity, the ceremony ended with Bobby symbolic breaking of the glass beneath his foot.

The reception was set outdoors beneath the warm glow of market lights. The wood tables were decorated with eucalyptus garland, antlers and iron candelabras all adding to the elegant rustic vibe.

The entertainment for the night was provided by the band The Class Band who had everyone dancing but one of our favorite parts of the night is when Bobby serenaded Miriam, it just made our hearts soar as tears welled up in her eyes.
