We had the pleasure of meeting Vanessa and Matt months ago for their engagement session at the Humphreys Estate in Temecula, CA. You can check out some images from the engagement session by clicking HERE.  Fast forward several months and finally the big day had come and we feel so blessed to have captured all the beautiful moments of this lovely couples day.  The wedding took place at the Steele Canyon Golf Club in Jamul, CA on a beautiful Friday evening.

For this wedding the Emry team consisted of Ryan and Kevin doing photography and Adam shooting video.  You can see the highlight film from the day HERE.

We arrived at Vanessa and Matt’s house earlier in the day to capture those very important getting ready moments.  On separate ends of the house you could see the excitement building in both of them.  Vanessa’s big fluffy dress made for some absolutely stunning photos with the beautiful natural light coming in through the windows.  Vanessa held back the tears as she read a heartfelt letter written to her from her husband-to-be accompanied by a gift from him.

The limo arrived and the time came for us to head over to Steele Canyon Golf Club where the ceremony and reception would be held. Shortly after arriving we walked Matt out to a perfect location overlooking the course, and then guided Vanessa to him making sure he did not see her until the perfect moment for their first look.  When Matt finally turned around the reaction was one of pure overwhelming joy and love.  It was amazing to witness.

The ceremony was full of laughter and there was not a guest without a smile on their face.  After being announced as husband and wife the newly married couple walked down the aisle and paused for a kiss while everyone looked up and waived to the drone hovering over the ceremony capturing some beautiful footage of their first moments as a married couple.

We took off on a couple golf carts for some fun private photos around the course.  The lighting couldn’t have been more perfect.  We noticed off in the far distance a old tractor on a hill.  The fun couple they are Matt and Vanessa were not going to pass up the opportunity for some photos on that tractor, and either were we!

After some fun on the farm, we headed down to the 18th hole fairway for some fun photos as Matt lifted and twirled Vanessa.  We were all so into the moment that we were oblivious to the golfers on the tee box waiting on us so that they could tee off!

As if we had not had enough fun yet, the remainder of the night was full of fun with dancing on big boxes that lit up, photo booth silliness, and memories for friends and family that will last a lifetime.

We want to thank Vanessa and Matt for not only making memories with Emry, but for making it one of our favorite weddings of the year to be a part of.
