There are so many beautiful rolling vineyards and winery wedding venues in North County San Diego, but Lorimar Winery wedding venue has to be one of our favorites. Located at 39990 Anza Rd, Temecula, CA 92591 this inland empire wedding venue boasts sprawling grounds, Tuscan charm and a beautiful market lit reception space.
Lorimar Winery was the perfect backdrop for Wendy and Scott’s Fall wedding. The days are getting shorter and night is settling in earlier and earlier in the day giving the most beautiful golden light at the end of their ceremony and during their wedding portraits. We first met these two for their engagement session in Fallbrook and instantly fell in love with their playful, laughter filled love. We were long awaiting the “big day” and finally it was here.
Ryan photographed Scott and his fellas as they prepped for the day in the groom suite at Lorimar winery. Meanwhile, I took a trip to Sun City where Wendy and a few of her bridesmaids got glammed up at a family friends house by Chelsea Rose Beauty. We all departed to Lorimar where Wendy slipped into her gorgeous lace Maggie Sottero wedding dress. Wendy’s mother couldn’t contain herself any longer as she fastened the buttons of her little girls wedding gown and she broke into tears sending us all into tears. Little moments like these are my absolute favorites from bridal preparation.
Wendy and her girls popped some champagne before hopping onto a golf cart to go get Scott and Wendy MARRIED! The ceremony site at Lorimar Winery is beautiful. The huge pergola was draped in cascading vines with the rolling vineyard in the background as the sun settled into the hillside. Scott’s reaction as Wendy walked down the rose scattered aisle was unforgettable. I loved seeing all of the laughter these two had throughout their vows.
We chased the golden light all around the grounds at Lorimar Winery with the newlyweds. From the grape vines to the orange groves and the beautiful Tuscan style pergolas there is no shortage of beautiful backdrops here to discover and we feel like we only scratched the surface.
The evening continued with a heartfelt first dance, beautiful speeches, and a dance party that proved to be legendary (the photos should substantiate this claim). All of the gratitude to Wendy + Scott for allowing us to document this beautiful celebration for them!
