It has been said that rain on your wedding day is a good omen, we aren’t sure where this began, or if it stems from an aim to calm the brides nerves. After Brooke and Brandon’s wedding this past Saturday we believe every bride should know rain on your wedding day while it may be a good omen also creates a warm, cozy, intimate atmosphere that only mother nature could supply. That became very clear to us as we began editing Brooke & Brandon’s rainy day beach wedding on Camp, Pendleton, CA.
Brooke & Brandon’a wedding was full of family, friends, and a very rare San Diego rainy day. Despite the overcast skies and downpours, Brooke gracefully did not let it bother her. This couple had a back-up plan and were going to move everything inside. Brooke had expressed her dream of having an outdoor ceremony. With some positive reinforcement from Brooke’s bridesmaids this couple chose that the rain wouldn’t make them move their ceremony inside and it’s all the more romantic because of that decision.
This rainy day was not going to stop these two from having the outdoor ceremony of their dreams. After making the decision Brooke and her bridesmaids laughed and relaxed as they got ready at one of the villas on the beach at Camp Pendleton, CA. Brooke had a beautiful ethereal vibe for her wedding day. With a gorgeous half-up braided hair style that was adorned with baby’s breath created by Sage Nguyen . Her makeup was fresh with a rosy pink lip created by Jordan Willis. Her bridal hair and makeup was complimented by her backless wedding dress from Lulu’s. We loved the long sleeved lace bodice and flow chiffon skirt it was just perfect for her beautiful beach wedding.
The stunning florals, ocean backdrop and smiles on Brooke & Brandon’s faces made this day anything but dreary. It was a beautiful day for two beautiful souls!
