The Wedding…

Farrah & Hugo’s fall wedding was the first wedding we have had the opportunity of photographing at Los Willows. Los Willows is a private wedding estate tucked away in our hometown of Fallbrook. It was amazing to finally be the wedding photographers at this Fallbrook wedding venue. Guests were ushered down a landscaped path into a meadow glimmering in twinkle lights and spilling sunlight. The groom arrived in a Mercedes to the ceremony site. The bride arrived just after by horse drawn carriage. Farrah walked down the rose covered aisle into the heavy sunlit arbor, a timeless silhouette in her fit & flare wedding gown from Blush Bridal Couture. The bride and groom shared their vows in front of friends and family in a heart felt ceremony. Hugo held back tears at the site of his bride, Farrah in her stunning wedding veil & gown. After the couple said “I do” they were whisked away by the horse drawn carriage for a stroll through the estates winding path around the lake.

We stole the couple away during cocktail hour for some wedding portraits with the bridal party and the bride and grooms family. After the family portraits it was time for just the bride & groom to have a couple portrait session. The newlyweds sat on the wooden swing at Los Willows as we captured the moments.

The reception space took place in the white draped tent beneath a canopy of glowing lights and fragrant blooms. Single red rose stems suspended in water gave way into bursting floral centerpieces. Marsala & navy accents gave the white draped tent the coziness and comfort of fall. The couple had their first dance as newlyweds beneath the shimmering chandelier as guests looked on with adoring eyes. Los Willows wedding estate has the most beautiful landscape lighting. The entire wedding venue transforms as the twilight gives way to the night sky. Lanterns hang from weeping trees above delicately lit pathways. Fairy lights dance from hanging tree branches like glowing Spanish moss creating an utterly ethereal ambience. We swept the couple away once more for some evening wedding portraits beneath the glittering lights and pristine night sky.

Farrah & Hugo’s wedding was nothing short of fairytale and we feel so blessed to have been able to capture this day. From the time we met these two at their engagement session we just adored them. Soft spoken and so kind hearted we know just like their wedding their marriage will be one for the storybooks. All of the happiness to the newlyweds!!
