Julie + Martin  ::  Married  ::  Aviation Vineyards

We’re so excited to share this Temecula wedding with you. Julie and Martin’s rustic chic wedding was full of romantic details and heartfelt moments. Julie and Martin could not have chose a more perfect wedding venue than Aviation Vineyards for their romantic rustic chic wedding. The private estate turned wedding venue rests in the scenic mountains of Temecula, California best known for being the wine country of San Diego. Julie and Martin’s wedding was full rustic décor and romantic details like mason jar florals by Magnolia Flowers and a dessert table by Elegance on Display fit for even the biggest of sweet tooth’s. The couple chose adorable burlap wrapped mints as their wedding favors with a sweet tag that wrote “mint to be”. Julie and Martin’s attention to detail was evident throughout their wedding with all of their design choices.

The couple chose natural colors like blush pink, green and cream that complimented the mountainous ceremony backdrop and lush secret garden feel of the reception space. The romantic color scheme was reflected in the breathtaking centerpieces and full rounded bouquets of roses and succulents by Magnolia Flowers. Julie went for effortless glam, from her elegant lace Enzoani gown from Jacqueline’s Bridal to her flowing curls that kissed her shoulders.

We loved the unity sand ceremony that incorporated Julie and Martin’s four daughters. It was symbolic of not only two people coming together but of two families coming together to form one. If you are considering a unity sand ceremony this is a great site that explains the meaning and symbolism behind it.

 The Couple:

Julie + Martin

We arrived at the venue in the mountains east of Fallbrook, blown away with the changes since we last visited the grounds in month’s prior. This is the stuff wedding photographers dream of (think boulder adorned mountains, wooden bridges, twinkling market lights and a secret garden reception site).  We found Julie and her girls getting ready in what might be the most glam bridal prep room we have ever seen.  With a matching (much more masculine) version for the groom prep room outfitted with a foosball table and a massage chair that will have you cancelling all future massage and chiropractic appointments. After some fun with the makeup and hair Julie and Martin did a no look first look, meeting (but not seeing each other) around the corner for a few last minute words, laughs and hand holding before the big moment.

Across a bridge and down a path we made our way to the ceremony site with a backdrop of boulder-lined ridges. Everyone was all smiles as the couple said their vows and the girls had their part in the ceremony too with a sand ceremony consisting of the entire family.

After whisking away the newly weds for a few photo ops it was time for the grand entrance.  Entering through beautiful turquoise antique doors into a “Secret garden” like reception space the couple was greeted by friends and family with cheers that echoed through the valley.  The remainder of the night was filled with laughter, tears of happiness, a performance for the couple by their daughters (they really put a lot of time into re-writing several songs), and a whole lot of dancing under the stars.

Congratulations to Julie & Martin on their gorgeous romantic outdoor wedding, we are so honored you chose to make memories with Emry and we wish you both all of the happiness in the world.
