When you know, you know. Kim and Jordan knew they were for each other just as we knew they were totally for us. After photographing their engagement session at Del Mar Dog Beach, we could not wait to photograph their wedding at Twin Oaks House and Gardens. These avid fishers both got the catch of their lives on Friday when they married each other in front of their friends and family at Twin Oaks Gardens in San Marcos, CA.

They started off as college friends and reunited after they both moved back to California, many years and two fur babies later these two soul mates are no longer swimming solo. The old school house wedding venue turned secret garden was the perfect backdrop for Jordan and Kim’s rustic floral inspired wedding. Urban Gardens brought Kim’s vision to life with cascading floral arrangements in hues of pink. Kim’s bouquet was stunning with its show stopping protea. But that all paled in comparison to how breathtaking Kim was in her Badgley Mischka wedding gown. Just when you thought her form fitting lace gown couldn’t get any better, she put on her cathedral length veil and dang, it got even better. The bridal suite was filled with emotion that day, and two of the cutest sweetest little flower girls who had us all cracking up and totally stole our hearts.

Kim and Jordan’s wedding day at Twin Oaks had so many incredible moments, from their heart felt first look to the EPIC dance party they threw everything was just…BEYOND. Jordan pulled out all the stops during the wedding reception as he dropped down into the worm, busted out some serenading for Kim on the mic and later some rapping, it was the gift that just kept on giving. We feel so incredibly grateful to meet people like Kim and Jordan and be invited in on one of the most intimate and sacred days. A huge thank you to our newlyweds for allowing us into your inner circle for the day and making us feel so dang appreciated and cared for, you guys ROCK! Both the venue and this wedding are absolutely gorgeous, so let’s take a peek, shall we?

“Where do I even start!! 😀 Emry did an AMAZING job capturing everything from our engagement shoot to our big day! They are professional and a pleasure to work with! Let’s just start from the beginning… I met Emily and Ryan at their house so that Emily could do my make up for our engagement shoot. Instantly I felt welcomed and overjoyed to work with them. My (now) husband and I are water lovers so the del mar dog beach was the perfect recommendation from Emry! It was a fun(ny) and joyful experience! Within 5 days from our shoot, we had received ALL of our engagement pictures and let me tell you… I was BLOWN AWAY! When it came time to have a meeting for our wedding, Emry is on top of the Do’s and Dont’s! They make sure to cover everything so that they can ensure they capture everything you are looking for on your big day. And when that day arrived they greeted us at the venue with the biggest smiles and were already capturing our decor and venue setup! Now typically I like to manage control of my surroundings but I felt so comfortable in their hands I stepped back and let them lead us, and boy was that the best decision! We received our pictures for less than two weeks after our wedding and WOW-o-WOW!! I had been hyping them up so much and they STIL exceeded my expectations! Let me tell you, folks, the pictures are what you will have to remember your big day or any major life moment and Emry will not let you down. They are an amazing team, a pleasure to work with and truly amazingly talented photographers and videographers! I will continue to use them for other major milestones in our lives because I know I will be in the best of hands! <3”
